For DATA MODUL, sustainability encompasses ecological, social, and overall responsible corporate governance aspects alike. Guided by the principle of assuming social responsibility and continuously making a positive contribution to employees, partners, and the region, we have been actively engaged for years in supporting charitable organizations through targeted financial contributions.
Regional commitment
As part of this year’s Christmas donation campaign, Michael Scheuenstuhl, Managing Director of DATA MODUL’s “Technology Flagship” site in Weikersheim, personally handed over the symbolic donation checks to two regional organizations:
- “Tafel Bad Mergentheim”, operated by the Diaconal Work of the Main-Tauber Districtist
- “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Ortsverein Weikersheim” (DRK)
The donation check for €3,000 to the Tafel Bad Mergentheim was received by Linda Haberkorn, Head of the Tafel operations, and Annemarie Scheckenbach, a volunteer. At the meeting with the DRK, Carolin Lang, Head of Operations, as well as Nick Schuppert, Chairman and Mayor of the City of Weikersheim, were present.
“Especially during the Christmas season, we as a company want to contribute to supporting people in our region – and thereby live up to our commitment to social sustainability,” emphasized Michael Scheuenstuhl. “The work of the Tafel and the DRK deserves the highest respect. With our donation, we want to express our gratitude to all those who dedicate themselves every day to helping others.”
